Overview

This is a hands-on stockroom position with responsibility for the control and movement of material within the stockroom and Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). This includes, but is not limited to, issuing of stock material to production jobs, component kitting for system jobs. This individual must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, will be required to have a thorough understanding of Resonetics material handling procedures and systems. The primary responsibility for this position will be to maintain material movement within the stockroom but it will also be necessary to backup and supplement the Shipping and Receiving function.

Responsibilities

  • Issue material to production orders and component kitting for systems jobs if applicable. 
  • Inventory control, traceability and maintenance of in-house and customer owned material.
  • Properly bag, tag, label inventory, and practice proper FIFO stock rotation, in a manner to ensure GMP compliance at all times.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as required.
  • Evaluate/propose enhancement to current materials handling/storage/flow process to ensure timely availability to the production floor in a GMP compliant manner.
  • Become extremely familiar with ERP Modules pertaining to position.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving activities when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years purchasing/stockroom experience. 
  • Prior work experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning/Material Requirements Planning environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills and willingness to learn Microsoft office.
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation

  • $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
