Overview

Responsibility and leadership of the engineering side in the production departments on site. Management responsibility for a team of production engineers, guidance, support and management of the team under his responsibility. Responsibility for improving production processes including reducing depreciation, creating flatness in production processes, managing transfer processes from development to production and performing validations.
Improving the quality of existing products, managing engineering changes and configuration control.
Planning production means for the implementation and improvement of processes.
Selecting, purchasing and installing (IQ) new equipment on site. Solving production problems and malfunctions.

Responsibilities

 

  • Managing and leading manufacturing engineering team
  • Supervision of the design of manufacturing and measuring tools (jigs, fixtures, and mandrels) and defining additional required equipment
  • Management of improvements to existing processes in order to enhance capacity and work efficiency. Implementation of technological improvements, while keeping track of new developments in the field
  • Development of work processes
  • Acting as a professional and managerial authority in the field of manufacturing engineering at the site
  • Implementing technological improvements based on market needs and the availability of innovative solutions, identifying new and updated manufacturing tools
  • Management of the transfer process from development to production
  • Improvement of the quality of existing products, managing engineering changes, and configuration control
  • Designing manufacturing tools and production means required on the production floor or derived from new customer requirements
  • Working with the development team on projects or any activities related to development and specifically in manufacturing engineering
  • Professional development of the engineering team
  • Setting long-term strategy and work methods
  • Preparing annual work plans

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical/Materials Engineering
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • 3 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a process manufacturing plant
  • Experience with medical validations
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 standard
  • CAD Proficiency - preferably knowledge in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • High proficiency in Hebrew and English
  • Project management experience -Advantage
  • Strong team leadership ability, decision-making, good interpersonal skills, technical ability, problem-solving, self-learning , integrity, persistence, service-oriented, systemic thinking, accuracy, orderliness, dynamism, reliability
