Overview
- Maintenance Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that maximizes equipment uptime, minimizes downtime, and reduces overall maintenance costs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of skill and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget, including cost control and expense forecasting.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and negotiate with external vendors and suppliers for maintenance-related services and equipment procurement.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Asset Tracking: Implement an asset management system to track equipment status, maintenance history, and replacement schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance and communicate results to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in maintenance management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.
