The Operations Business Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing our operational processes and driving efficiency. This position involves analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and collaborating with various teams to implement changes. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem-solver with strong communication and analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization. Develop and recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations teams, inventory control and shipping/receiving, to understand their needs and ensure alignment on proposed solutions. Build strong relationships and facilitate communication across teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges. Support the testing and training phases of implementation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within operational processes. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in ERP integrations, enhancements and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Define, configure, test, and deploy best practice solutions for production, MES, labeling, purchasing, planning, inventory control, material storage, and other manufacturing tools.
  • Propose program changes/fixes for existing reports and dashboards.
  • Apply LEAN concepts to production activities to support demand driven
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing or inventory control, managerial role.
  • Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, Visual Factory, value stream mapping, production smoothing, line balance.
  • Demonstrated experience with FDA/GMP or ISO 13485 requirements.
  • ERP system experience.
  • Strong computer knowledge is required including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes.
  • Ability to determine priorities and handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Manage project constraints and risks.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks, changing priorities, and frequently conflicting demands.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $88,000 - $105,000/year.
