The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for leading the centralization of the supply chain function, overseeing all aspects of the transition from site-based management to a centralized model. This leader will implement a unified strategy to optimize logistics, inventory management, production planning, and distribution across all manufacturing sites using the core model. The Director will work closely with the VP of Supply Chain to ensure the success of this transformation, aligning the centralized function with the company’s overall business objectives and driving improvements in cost, efficiency, and service levels.
Lead the execution of a centralized supply chain strategy, transitioning operations from site-specific management to an integrated, enterprise-wide model.
Partner with site leaders, functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with corporate objectives.
Drive the implementation and adherence to standardized policies, procedures, and systems for logistics, inventory management, and planning using a core model approach.
Oversee the successful deployment and utilization of ERP systems, transportation management systems, and other essential supply chain technologies.
Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional supply chain team to support and execute the centralized model effectively.
Champion a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and accountability across the supply chain organization.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities to team members to foster growth and maximize performance.
Engage with site-based teams to understand local challenges and ensure the centralized function is responsive to their needs while enhancing overall efficiency.
Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance and ensure continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business goals and supply chain excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing complex, global operations.
Proven track record of successfully centralizing and transforming supply chain functions across multi-site or regional environments.
Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain disciplines, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and distribution.
Expertise in leveraging supply chain technologies such as ERP systems, demand planning tools, and transportation management systems to drive efficiency and visibility.
Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global setting.
Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Willingness to travel up to 25% to support site operations and initiatives.

Proven experience in medical device manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on managing and optimizing supply chain operations across multiple sites.
Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or Six Sigma are highly valued.
Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives and driving large-scale organizational transformation within complex supply chain environments.
Handles routine office responsibilities as required.
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $155,000 - $175,000.
