The Manager, Nitinol Inside Sales provides oversight for maintaining and developing Bethel tube, wire and sheet accounts not covered by the business development team. This role leads the forecasting, quote process and monthly metric tracking for these products.  This role ensures ongoing pipeline and partners closely with manufacturing, Business Development, Customer Solutions and Lightspeed Labs to ensure review targets are met.  This role is the main contact with the customer and owns the customer relationships.  He/she works closely with customers to build trust, understand requirements and ensures ongoing customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership oversight for Bethel Proposal Manager and reports into the SVP Sales, MIS.

Responsibilities

  • Main contact for Bethel tube wire and sheet customers
  • Responsible for maintaining the accounts not covered by the business development team for tube, wire, and sheet.
  • Partners closely with customer solutions to facilitate PO order management
  • Works with customer operations managers and commercial team to ensure accurate forecasts for tube, wire and sheet
  • Owns the quote process for tube, wire and sheet ensuring turnaround time metrics are achieved; follows up on quotes as needed
  • Tracks and publishes monthly progress to goals
  • Lead activities associated with expediting requests to win new work or rebuilding customer trust
  • Provides leadership and guidance for the Proposal Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and trends to drive decisions.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships with key accounts.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across internal functions.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with lead generation, pipeline management, and sales process optimization.
  • Comfortable with virtual selling and remote customer engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in contract manufacturing preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $110,000 –$133,000.
