The CNC Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. They are a skilled professional responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimal functioning of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machinery and related manufacturing equipment. Their primary goal is to minimize downtime and ensure the high precision and efficiency of production.
The CNC Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting CNC manufacturing operations by performing scheduled and unscheduled repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of CNC machines and associated automation. This position requires a strong blend of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise, along with an understanding of machine controls and programming. The technician will work closely with production teams to diagnose equipment failures, implement effective solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Individual must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English. Must have the ability to read, analyse, and interpret procedure and/or safety manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
