We are a leading innovator in the melting and manufacturing of cutting-edge medical and industrial-grade Nitinol products. We’re looking for a passionate Manufacturing Engineer to play a critical role in driving our manufacturing operations to the next level.

 

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the heart of our production, ensuring processes run smoothly, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making impactful decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to innovate and optimize within a rapidly growing industry. You'll be working on a variety of tasks, including process monitoring, troubleshooting, and creating essential documentation to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
  • Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
  • Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors. 
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Generate and maintain: Product specifications / drawings, Item Masters, Routers, Bill of Materials, Inspection documents, Validation protocols, Production forms, any other product related system documentation by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and time management abilities.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • A desire to continuously learn and the flexibility to work overtime when needed.
  • Participate in learning and growth opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Prior experience in an engineering role within the medical device industry.

Physical Demands

  • Be prepared for a dynamic work environment that includes standing, sitting, reaching, and operating various tools and equipment.
  • You’ll need keen vision for product and equipment inspection.
  • Occasional light to moderate lifting and full access to inspect machinery are required.
  • Consistent attendance is crucial in this role.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $73,000-91,000.
